Troughed belt conveyors

S&F troughed belt conveyors are suitable for conveying bulk materials of all kinds
Troughed belt conveyors are available in both mobile and stationary models, and are manufactured in segments so that they can be adapted to the needs of the customer.

When ascending or installed at a steep incline, chevron belts are used, depending on the material to be conveyed. Standard troughed belt conveyors are manufactured with belt widths from 400 mm to 2000 mm and centre distances of up to 100 m. Optional accessories are available for the troughed belt conveyors, such as covers, feed chutes and others.

Areas of application

Our troughed belt conveyors are used, among other places, in the timber industry (sawmills and sawmill industry, paper and pulp industry, forestry, biomass power stations, by manufacturers of wood fuels and producers of wood chips), in the recycling industry (waste wood processing plants, waste wood operations, recycling operations, construction materials recycling plants, RDF plants / refuse derived fuel plants, composting sites), the chemical industry (fertilizer industry), the construction materials industry (non-metallic minerals industry, cement industry, concrete industry, quarries, gravel pits), the animal feed industry and agriculture. Furthermore, troughed belt conveyors are used for loading or the transhipment of dry bulk solids (e.g. wood pellets), as a discharge system downstream of a screening machine, as well as for many other applications (port handling).
