S&F GmbH Screening Plants, Conveyors
Since the company was founded in June 1990 as “Franz Amann Siebmaschinen & Fördertechnik“, customers in various manufacturing sectors, such as brickworks and saw mills, have been working successfully with our screening machines, conveyors and recycling machines.
Although at the beginning the business was concerned with refurbishing and reconditioning used conveyors, woodworking machines and screening machines, in May 1991 we already produced the first S&F screening machine with up to one square metre screening surface area. 1993, that’s just two years later, we were able to win market share with a screening area of up to a 3 square metres screening surface area.1994 it was up to 6 square metres.
1995: “Franz Amann Siebmaschinen & Fördertechnik“ expanded its product range with new machines for use in the timber industry – for example for wood chips and old wood – in brickworks, right though to screening machines for DSD (for recycling material / for the recycling industry). Soon we were able to supply machines with up to 12 square metres – as a “double-decker“ that equates to 24 square metres of screening surface area.
In January 1997 the reorganisation of the company into “S&F GmbH Siebmaschinen und Fördertechnik“ took place.
2002 we recognised the sign of the times and constructed a screening machine for the pellet industry which enjoyed strong demand. At the same time we expanded our programme spectrum with disk screening machines and star screening machines for old wood, bark, humus, firewood etc.
Full of ideas and user-orientated it went on:
- 2006: screening machines for RDF (refuse derived fuel)
- 2007: expansion of the product range with dosing and supply systems using vibration
- 2007: expansion of the product range with vibration screening machines, for example for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
- 2008: expansion of the product range with heavy / robust vibration screening machines for building rubble, the stone industry etc.
The development and ongoing improvement of the screening machines, screening plants and conveyors has made it possible for us to provide well thought-out and proven solutions – for all sectors where material has to be classified or conveyed. Whether it is the ball head system which we use in our screening plants or the use of maintenance free and long-lasting antivibration mounts in screening machine and conveyor trough – our screening plants are designed so that use in three shift operation is no problem at all. All screening machines and conveyor belts manufactured by us are maintenance friendly. Our well known wide experience and flexibility enables our team to produce customer specific individual solutions at any time. This also of course includes the availability of specialised service personnel and an ex-stock spare part service.
Our success proved us right and on 1 April 2008 we were able to lay the foundation stone of a new company building in Grünkraut-Gullen – as investment in the future. Here there is a test machine for trial runs for each machine type. In May 2008 Dipl.-Ingenieur Robert Amann joined the Company as Joint Managing Director, a smooth transition to a generation change. The move to the new building took place on 1 March 2009.
